Plastic
This piece is plastic and it seems to fit ok. While it does have more capacity that other wire management devices, I found much cheaper stainless steel clips that secure wire to the bottom of the solar panel and also to the iron ridge rails. These plastic clips cost 75 cents apiece (20 clips for $12) , and I found better items that cost 20 cents apiece (100 items for $20).
